Aum

An article that I read today inspired me to write this

What is life today about? When I look around us I see a lot of things. An advertisement quotes “Impatience is the new life”. And that is truly what I see. Faster cars, high end technology computerized offices…. These things supposedly enable us to be more efficient in what we do, help us save time and speed up our way of life. What does that mean? That we should have had enough and more time with us. Ironically that is not the case.

Unfortunately, today, we have learnt to make a living but not a “life”

Ever thought???? How much time do we spend with nature? How much time do we spend with our loved ones? We have time to watch Television, football matches and IPL. But we don’t have time to take our family out for dinner…. Spend time with our sweetheart on the beach watching a sunset.

A wife sometimes craves to hear the “three’ most beautiful words from her husband but he does not have time for that. A husband tired from his hectic schedule comes back wishing lay down on his wife’s lap. But she is busy in her own world of worries.

There are people who live by discipline. People who are perfectionists in everything they do. But these are the same people who have forgotten to do the most perfect thing that have been imbibed in us naturally… to LOVE.

I hear a lot about extra marital affairs and one night stands. Why is it that people need to go outside to unfold their passion? Why is it that they need a 3rd person to show their love? Is it because the partner is not worth loving? Is it because they don’t get the love they deserve? Why is it that there are a lot more fights between husbands and wives and a lot less love?

These are just random thoughts. But there is one thing I feel and I need to express it here.

Today the person who loves us is just next to us. We believe that we have all the time in the world to express our love for that person. Tomorrow she/he might not be there. We shouldn’t regret at the time. We should never look back to say “Only if I could have loved her/him more, only if I had given her/him more of my time’. Tomorrow NEVER comes. Express your love-TODAY. Give all you can to your loved ones. To say “I LOVE YOU” is not a thing to be ashamed of. But when you say it, say it with  your heart, say it with your soul.

LIVE TODAY and LOVE TODAY
